We co-own Picabo with Dawn Mellon and Michael Biggs of Talent, Oregon.

Picabo was born on 02/20/02.  So right then and there I knew this entire litter was special; and indeed many of these puppies have gone on to lead extraordinary lives as assistance dogs, movie stars and in Picabo’s case, athletes!  Although she was the smallest puppy in a litter of 11, she was the most athletic… AND vocal!  From approximately 5 weeks old, she was able to climb to the top of an x-pen that was 48” high and teeter on the top rung “calling my name” until I came downstairs.  Picabo lives with our very good friends, Dawn Mellon and Michael Biggs in Talent, Oregon.  We are grateful for the nurturing, deferential environment in which they raised Picabo and all their dogs, and for their friendship and guidance on raising, training and living with Goldens in a holistic and Earth-friendly manner.

We co-own Meg with Sue Kline of Medford, Oregon.

 Meg truly enjoys a Joi de Vivre that would make even the most carefree person jealous!  She is a happy, happy dog who excels in whatever she tries – conformation, agility and now tracking, rally and obedience.  She has beautiful breed type and soulful look about her.  We’d like to thank Meg’s owners Sue and John Kline (and their extended family) for their devotion to Meg and her continual well-being and for their partnership in the whelping, raising and committing for a lifetime to Meg’s puppies by Cruiser.

Christopher is a strapping, blonde male out of one of the top producing Goldens of our time, Ch. Asterling's Austin Healey, OS, SDHF. Temperament-wise, Christopher is a gentle giant. However, in contrast to his personality, he possesses a huge, jaw-dropping side gait. He has a beautiful headpiece, a strong back and stunning angulation. He is already making a name for himself as a stud dog having produced two puppies (from separate litters) who helped their dam (Eliza) win the extremely competitive Brood Bitch class at the 2007 GRCA National Specialty. River is a young dog and we are still unsure what the future holds for him, but we like what we see thus far! He has a sweet and gentle nature and is a confident dog that commands the show ring. He is still growing but already has the makings of a Champion – watch for us in the show ring in 2008!

Baybee is just starting her show career and already she has points toward her championship and a Best Puppy in Show honors. She seems to have garnered the best of both of parents, Christopher and Eliza. She has her sire’s bone and overall balance, with her dam’s headpiece and “girls just wanna have fun” attitude. We have high hopes for Baybee’s future in the conformation ring – keep checking back to see how she’s growing up!
