Trillium Goldens was established in 1992 with the purchase of our first registered show dog, Am/Can Ch. Winfield’s MVP Cooperstown, NA, NAJ.  Since then we have always tried to uphold the Golden Retriever Club of America  ethics and standards in our breeding practices.  We are a serious hobby breeder and make informed breeding decisions based on our experiences over the past 15 years, in-depth research of bloodlines and up-to-date knowledge of the various health and temperament issues that afflict Golden Retrievers.  We have one well-planned litter approximately every 12-18 months.

Many Trillium Goldens have gone on to hold multiple titles in conformation, obedience and agility over the years.  We maintain 5 resident Goldens in our home –  Libby, Blu, Woody, Keeper and Carly.   We aim at producing Goldens of sound body, temperament and mind and all our puppies are hand-raised in our home and receive the utmost in care and socialization, from day one.  We recommend that everyone read the book “The Art of Raising a Puppy” by the Monks of New Skete, NY and “If A Dog’s Prayers Were Answered… Bones Would Rain From the Sky” By Suzanne Clothier.  These books will give you a clear understanding of how we raise our litters and how we constantly strive to improve our relationship with our wonderful companions and “best friends.”  You will also find answers to many questions new owners have on socializing, training and caring for their new puppy.
